根据联邦法规 § 41.122 Revocation of visas.<blockquote>(b) Provisional revocation</blockquote><blockquote>(2) Pending visa eligibility determination. A consular officer, the Secretary, or any Department official to whom the Secretary has delegated this authority may provisionally revoke a nonimmigrant visa while considering information related to whether a visa holder is eligible for the visa.</blockquote>即 ，领事官员 ，CO 在考虑是否能够给你X类签证的同时，有权撤销你目前的同类签证。实际操作中，撤销有两种方法：
*在电脑系统，即 Consular Lookout and Support System (CLASS) 里撤销
