Executive order 總統行政命令。歐巴馬時期DACA的生效、川普時期對多個國家的旅行禁令等都生效自總統行政命令。

EO的對象一般為政府機構，針對個人的總統令叫proclamation (not EO). 近期關於中國大陸移民的幾個行政命令都是Proclamation，如:
