Executive order 总统行政命令。奥巴马时期DACA的生效、川普时期对多个国家的旅行禁令等都生效自总统行政命令。

EO的对象一般为政府机构，针对个人的总统令叫proclamation (not EO). 近期关于中国大陆移民的几个行政命令都是Proclamation，如:
